DR. KRISTIE L. SEARCY

Teacher, Leader, Motivator, and Model are just a few titles befitting Dr. Kristie Searcy. Equipped with a loving heart and a fiery zeal to see others become empowered to achieve their goals, Dr. Searcy is committed to inspiring others to become their best selves.

Dr. Searcy was reared in the knowledge of the Bible by her father, Minister Tryon Eichelberger, Jr. and taught to have a reverence and a relationship with Christ by her mother, Mrs. Ollie Eichelberger. As a young adult she answered the call to ministry at Family Worship Center in Columbia, South Carolina under the leadership of Bishop Derrick W. Hutchins, Sr. After assisting her husband in establishing New Direction Christian Center in Augusta, GA, she became a licensed Missionary/Evangelist and was later ordained as an Elder of the church. She now serves with her husband as the Executive Pastor of the ministry. 

She is a huge proponent of education. She holds multiple degrees; a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, a Master of Arts degree in Health Services Management, a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. Professionally, she is the department head of the Radiology Programs at Augusta Technical College and the CEO and chief editor of Class A Editing. From these platforms, she has the fortunate opportunity to teach, train, counsel, and affect the lives of learners and writers on a daily basis. 

Dr. Searcy has a great heart for ministry and kingdom work. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. as well as Jack and Jill of America. She is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Augusta. She is currently a member of the Talented Tenth Community Leadership Program. She labors diligently in every capacity. Her mantra is “Be the best YOU you can be!” She demonstrates her best self daily as a wife to Dr. Jamyle Searcy and loving mother to Jayla, Kayden, and Myla.
